You are definitely _not_ wrong my friend. I know you know that insurance is designed to screw the pooch (that pooch would be you). I feel kinda sorry for you bro.

On a lighter note, forget the surgery, fear how crappy you're gonna feel -after-. My wisdom teeth extracting experience was actually not bad (I didn't go under, though). It's the constant reminder to not suck anything (candy, soda through a straw, water in a glass) and the Vicodin trip you'll be on that really sucks. The fact that moving your jaw would be worse than putting your hand in a blender, then trying to flip the bird to the insurance company who screwed you by backing out of what should be legally covered because of all the money you've put aside into _their_ pocket. I digress.

Good luck man :D

No, that's pretty much how it usually works out with any insurance. This is precisely why I am so opposed to mandatory insurance. Yes, IF something happens I am covered (partly, most likely) but by the time something would happen, especially if I don't do things that place me in a high risk category, the insurance plan will probably not exist anymore.

Have you looked into an HSA?

Hope this is the last time that you have to go under the knife!
